Kate Tsui attended an event in Victoria Park. She stated that she never thought she would be awarded Best Female Newcomer (Silver) at the ChiK Chak Music Awards. When she watched the other singers getting emotionally tearful while saying their Thankyou speech, she tried hard to hold back her tears because she was afraid of ruining her make up.
